"My name is Kaylee A.K.A. Backcountry Baddie and I'm a backcountry sports enthusiast with a passion for sustainability. I share my adventures and knowledge through inspiring and kind content both online and IRL. I've always been an outdoor lover but when I moved to the PNW in the summer of 2019 I quickly fell head over heels with our beautiful forests and when COVID hit in 2020 going to remote trails became a must and a weekly routine.

This routine inspired me to follow my dreams by changing careers and setting out to thru-hike the PCT. To get ready for this momentous trek I completed the WA and OR sections of the PCT along with several other trails in the PNW and the Oregon Coast Trail over the last 3 years. While on my thru-hike I'm excited to gain knowledge of the incredible things my body can do! I'm stoked to summit my first mountain, cowboy camp in the cold, hike my first 30+ mile day, and trek through the Sierras in a record snow year."

This car is amazing and soooo comfortable! The 2024 wilderness handles amazingly well on sand and in deep loose sand as well.
Side note, 5 weeks in and over 5k miles, will be in for the 6k maintenance soon! Have spend a lot of time in national forests
and beaches especially, what a great car!

Hello Glenn,
Here is the photo you requested of the BRZ. We made sure to choose one in a vertical orientation. Will send more later on. This was on a drive around lands near Mt. Helen. :)
We were able to condition the leather and UV protect all the interior this past weekend. Now it's at the shop for tint and film, then it'll need to cure for a bit and then we'll ceramic coat. Just after the new year, it will be absolutely perfect.

Hey Glen!
Just thought I'd send a few pics of the new Crosstrek on our first tiny adventure :) Many more big adventures to come in the future, I hope!
We (Blue and I) took Goldie on our last camp out of the season at the coast. I think Blue is finally forgetting about his Jetta and falling in love with Goldie :)
Thanks for everything! More pics to come of snowy adventures of the season ❄️☃️

Hello Glenn!
We had a FANTASTIC day with the Mtn Roo club (Oregon chapter). Everyone was so incredibly kind and helpful in helping to teach us about airing down our tires and then letting us borrow a compressor for reinflation.
The group even saved a stranded Tacoma!
We went to the Clackamas River RV park entrance and then veered left up to the La Dee Flat OHV Staging Area. Then just drove up the mountain past there.
Definitely recommend it. A couple people got stuck (the snow was very very deep and wet and mucky). But it was only temporary.
Engaged x mode in our outback and had no issues.
Here's a couple of pictures!
